BORN AND RAISED HERE - A NATIVE OF NEARLY 50 YEARS

   Hello, my name is Glenn Teed. I was born in Winterhaven, Florida before my parents moved to Merritt Island in 1973. I come from a family of seven with four sisters. Growing up, we spent most of our time outdoors playing either hide and seek in the neighborhood, fishing, or just riding bikes around. 

  My fondest memories growing up were with my dad, Glenwood Teed, taking me fishing to all the secret spots on the Island. If I didn't have a baseball game, then the nighttime was for shrimping under the 520 bridge, which connects Merritt Island to Cocoa Beach for those of you who don't know. My dad inspired me, although I didn't realize it at the time. He always had a joke, a facial expression, a song or just a hearty smile. He was a master guitarist/entertainer in Brevard County during the 70's and best known for his gig with the Lee Caron Band at the old Carnival Club in Cocoa Beach. As time wore on, he gave up show business in the early 80's to raise a family. He became a Christian and carried on his musical talents at a small church in Cocoa Beach. 

   I began a career at Publix Supermarkets in 1989. I remained with the company for 26 years before deciding to chase my dreams in real estate. During my time at Publix, I had the opportunity to work with many different leaders who helped to shape my character. I have helped hundreds of thousands of people plan for holidays or special events. I learned that premier customer service is the key to success with everything you do in a business, and that is what my main focus will always be, offering outstanding service for my clients.

   What you can expect from me is much more than you can expect from other agents. I have pressure washed driveways, helped with repairs, coordinated 3rd parties for other services, and have even run errands for people - that's what makes me different. As a local expert, I also know where everything important to buyers or sellers is located.
